Archiving Events

When selecting to run various reports, you will find that all past events will be shown on your drop-down menu. If you have a significant number of past events and would like to tidy up your account by archiving these old events (e.g. events from a previous financial year).


To archive your events:


  1. Go to Events and Archive past events.
  2. You will see a list of your past events. Any event that is ticked will be archived. Leave unticked any event that you do not want to archive at this stage
  3. Click save changes.


The archived events will no longer appear on your drop-down menu in reports or in current and past events on your dashboard and various other TicketSource features.  This information is not deleted and can be recovered at any time. To add these events back to your reports/dashboard, simply reverse the process.


Past events can also be set to automatically archive (defaulting to 24 months after event settlement).


To adjust the default period:


  1. Go to Account
  2. Select Account Settings
  3. Scroll down to "automatically archive past events"
  4. Select period in which the past events are archived (Never, 6 Months, 12 Months, 24 Months, 36 Months)
  5. Click Save Changes
