Block/Unblock Seats

1. To block seats


  1. Click the Actions menu alongside the relevant event date.
  2. Select the Set Ticket Availability menu option. 
  3. Click on the relevant section of the seating plan.
  4. Double-click to block a single seat from sale.
  5. Multiple seats, rows or whole sections can be blocked by using the options at the bottom of the screen.
  6. You can also write an internal note on each seat to explain why it is blocked.  
Any notes added using this method are for internal use only and cannot be viewed by customers booking online.
  1. Click Save Changes.


2. To unblock seats


  1. Follow the above, but double-click on a blocked seat to release it back on sale.
  2. Multiple seats, rows or whole sections can be unblocked by using the options at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Click Save Changes.


If you want a seat to be labelled as a House Seat or Wheelchair space, tick the relevant box in the information box to the right-hand side of the screen.


Only administrators can add or release these types of seats.

3. To allocate house seats


  1. Click the Actions menu alongside the relevant event date.
  2. Select the Set Ticket Availability menu option.
  3. Click on the relevant section of the seating plan.
  4. Double-click to block a single seat from sale.
  5. Multiple seats, rows or whole sections can be blocked by using the options at the bottom of the screen.
  6. In the Selected Seat Details box tick the House Seat box. 
  7. Click save changes.


To release a house seat for sale -


  1. Follow the above, but double click on a blocked seat to release it back on sale.
  2. Click save changes.


A prompt will appear on the screen when attempting to release a house seat. This is to prevent seats accidentally being placed back on sale.
