Booking Fees

We offer our event creators the flexibility option to change their booking fee settings whenever they want.

1. How to View and Change your Booking Fees


  1. Go to Account and select Booking Fees.
  2. To change the booking fee structure, select the appropriate option.
  3. Click save changes at the bottom of the screen.


If you need further information about a booking fee option, hover over the information icon next to the relevant option.


A booking fee calculator is available at the bottom of the Booking Fee Structure page to assist you in calculating the cost of each booking fee option. This calculator is automatically updated to include any discounts on your booking fee (e.g. Charity discounted rate).


The booking fee structure that we offer our event creators at the point of sign-up can change periodically. You will retain the booking fee structure you had when you first signed up. 


Registered charities are also able to get a reduction in their booking fees.


2. Booking Fees for Stripe Payment Processing


There is a reduced booking fee for event creators using Stripe Payment Processing, as Stripe has its fees. You can choose any of the booking fee options discussed above. Stripe's fees are applicable over the entire booking, not on a ticket-by-ticket basis.


3. In-house Booking Fees


In-house ticket purchases are not subject to any TicketSource booking fees but you can choose to apply your own booking fee to face-to-face bookings.


  1. Go to Account and select Booking Fees.
  2. Under In-house booking fee settings select Apply a booking fee of.
  3. Set your required fee amount
  4. Select if you wish to enable a manual override of booking fee during the booking
  5. Click save changes at the bottom of the screen.
