1. How to create a new seating plan

  1. Go to Events and select New Seating Plan.
  2. Add your Seating Plan Description.
  3. Change your Seating Plan Focal Point to the most relevant option for your event.
  4. Select Add Section.
  5. In the Section Details box (top left), add a section description (e.g. Stalls, Circle, Balcony).  You can change the colour of the section by clicking the orange box.
  6. In the grid, click on your first seat and select Add Multiple Seats (bottom right of your screen). If there are not enough boxes on the grid to accommodate your seating plan, you can add boxes by using the arrows on all sides of the grid.
  7. In the pop-up box that appears, state the number of seats that you want to add (either the whole row or, if you have an aisle, the number of seats up to the aisle), tick to include seat numbers and state the first seat number. Click Add Seats.
  8. You can add row letters to the left-hand side of the grid.
  9. Individual seats can be added/removed by double clicking on a seat and adding the seat number.
  10. Once your section is complete select save changes. You can click and drag the relevant section into position. Your focal point can also be moved in the same way.
  11. Follow the previous method to create new sections or use the copy function to copy your previous section. If you copy a previous section, please ensure you amend the Section Description and seat numbers.
  12. When your seating plan is complete, check for accuracy and then click save changes.

2. Add objects to your seating plans
