Event Notification Emails

Event Notifications are emails sent to TicketSource users relating to the status of your events.

1. What are the types of event notifications available?


  • Booking Notifications send a notification every time a booking is processed.
  • Sold Out Notifications send a notification when the available allocation for an event becomes sold out.
  • Waiting List Notifications send a notification every time a customer is adding to a waiting list.
  • Daily Sales Report (detailed or summarised) send a daily summary of bookings.
  • Weekly Sales Reports (A selection of weekly/all sales or detailed or summarised) - emails are sent on a Monday
  • Final Booking Summaries send a final summary of bookings at the end of the ticket sales period. There is then the option to add reports to the Final Booking Summary.
  • Accounts Notifications are the only mandatory notifications. These are sent to the account administrator and will send a final event statement of TicketSource payments and referral income notifications.


2. How to activate email notifications for users


To access these notifications, you need to be permitted by an admin user to receive them.


To grant permission to access email notification:


  1. Go to Account and select User Accounts
  2. Hover over the selected user
  3. Press the Pencil Icon that appears to modify
  4. Go to the very bottom of the permissions page to Email Notifications and select the notifications the user needs to receive.
  5. Click Save Changes.
