Event Visibility

How to hide your event from public view

If you have activated your event but wish to hide it from your public sales page you can achieve this by setting your event to be hidden from public searches.

To do this:

  1. Go to Events and select Modify Event.
  2. Choose the relevant event.
  3. In the Event column, click the Pencil Icon.
  4. Scroll down to the Advanced Settings option and click to expand.
  5. Next to Event visibility, ensure the Show event in ticket shop and public searches box is unticked.
  6. Click save changes.

Your event should now be hidden from our public sales pages and will no longer show on your public-facing homepage. You can still access your event to send an invitation link by using the events unique URL address. This can be accessed by going to Publicise Event under the Events tab in your account and selecting the relevant event from the dropdown list.

How to request removal of an event from Google search results

Should you wish to remove an out-of-date event from appearing on Google search results, follow these steps:

  1. Send a request to Google via their ‘removed outdated content’ page.
  2. Provide Google with the event URL in question. Click new request, enter the URL for the page you wish removed and click submit.
  3. You can check the status of the request via the ‘remove outdated content’ link.
