Filtered Event Reference Weblink

If you share your TicketSource Ticket Shop URL with customers, this will take them to a full list of events within your account that are available for public view. If you want to create a separate event listings page for a specific set of events, you can do so by assigning each event one unique event reference. This feature can be useful if you’re hosting a festival.

  1. How to add/amend an event reference
  2. How to create your unique URL weblink

1. How to add/amend an event reference

  1. Go to Events, Modify Event and select the event you want from the drop-down menu.
  2. On the event designer page, click the Pencil Icon below the event title.
  3. Scroll down to Advanced Settings.
  4. In the box titled Event Reference, input the relevant event reference (this reference must have no spaces or special characters and be the same across all events you wish to appear in this event listing).
  5. Click save changes.

Repeat the above process for any events that you wish to add to your unique event listing.

Once you have made the relevant changes, you must create a unique TicketSource URL.

  1. Copy your TicketSource Ticket Shop URL from within your TicketSource dashboard (this is located on the main page of your dashboard under the title of your account).
  2. Paste the URL somewhere it can be edited (e.g. an internet browser, email, note app etc.).
  3. At the end of the URL, add the following text- ?eventref=
  4. After the '=' symbol, add the Event Reference that you copied onto each event.

For example, if your event reference was SummerFestival then the text you need to enter after your generic TicketSource URL would be - ?eventref=SummerFestival

This new URL which you have created will direct customers to your unique event listing.

Please note this URL will not be listed under the publicise events section of your account.
