Import/Export Customer Database

1. Importing your customer database


  1. Go to Customers and select Import Customers.
  2. Drag your file into, or click the box, to upload your CSV or XLS spreadsheet.
  3. Once uploaded, your customer details will appear below the box. Select from the drop-down boxes what the customer information represents (e.g. First name, Surname name, Address line 1).
  4. When you're happy with your choices, Click Import customers.  A tick will appear on the screen if the customer details have been imported successfully.


2. Exporting your customer database


  1. Go to Customers and select Export Customers.
  2. Select whether you wish to extract customer data for all events or specific events.
  3. Use the filters to extract more specific customer data if necessary (e.g. for a specific category or genre or during a specific time period).
  4. Under Export Detail, select if you want to download just the Customer’s Contact Details or Contact Details Plus Booking Information.
  5. Tidy your list by using Export Options (e.g. exclude customers if no email address is provided).
  6. Under Marketing Consent 
    • to export all customers irrespective of whether they have provided consent for marketing, and ensure that all boxes are un-ticked
    • If using for marketing purposes, select the marketing communication type that you would like to download and whether you are downloading customer data for your own use or a third party.
  1. Choose whether you would prefer to have your data in the form of a CSV or an excel spreadsheet.
  2. Click on Export Customers.
  3. Your document will be downloaded to your device.

  4. Under Export Detail, select Customer and booking details
  5. Tidy your list by using Export Options (e.g. exclude customers if no email address is provided).
  6. Under Marketing Consent, utilise the second group of marketing consent options to Include customers who've consented to be contacted by the named third party associated with their booking. 
  7. Choose whether you would prefer to have your data in the form of a CSV or an excel spreadsheet.
  8. Click on Export Customers.
  9. Your document will be downloaded to your device.
