1. How to create a reservation


  1. From your dashboard, click Book Now next to the relevant event.
  2. Follow the booking process as normal.
  3. On the page that allows you to select the payment type, select RES: Reservation.
  4. Continue with the booking process as normal.


2. How to convert a reservation into a paid booking


Please note that you can only convert a reservation to a full booking on a like-for-like basis. If you require fewer full tickets than the number in the reservation, we recommend you cancel the reservation first, then put through the new number as fully paid in-house bookings.


  1. Go to Reports and select Reservations Report.
  2. Filter accordingly
  3. Click Produce Report.
  4. Click Actions next to the relevant customer on the transaction line.
  5. Select Modify Payment Type.
  6. You can then select the relevant payment type (e.g. card, cash, cheque).
  7. If you are Stripe integrated, you will also be able to take the customers' card details and convert them to a full booking through payment.


Reservations can also be converted in the customer details section:


  1. Go to Customers and Search Customers.
  2. Search for the customer via name, booking reference, email, etc.
  3. Select the relevant customer, then go to Customer Bookings.
  4. In the Actions menu on the right, select Modify Payment Type
  5. You can then select the relevant payment type (e.g. card, cash, cheque).


3. How to view your reservations


  1. Go to Reports and Reservations Report.
  2. Filter accordingly (e.g. select event, etc.)
  3. Click Produce Report.


To view a reservation report for a specific event from your dashboard, within your dashboard, next to the relevant event, go to Actions and select Reservation Report.


4. How to cancel reservations


Cancel single reservations


  1. Go to Customers and select Search customers
  2. Search for the Reservation by the customer's surname or the booking reference number.
  3. Once you have located the booker, click on the Customer Bookings tab.
  4. Next to the relevant reservation, go to Actions and select Cancel Reservation.


Cancel multiple reservations


  1. Go to Reports and Reservations Report.
  2. Filter accordingly (e.g. select event, etc.) and click on Produce Report.
  3. For each reservation that you need to cancel, go to Actions next to the reservation and select Cancel Reservation.


5. How to pre-print reservation bookings


You can print e-tickets or thermal tickets (if you have your own thermal printer and our Print Server software installed) for reservation bookings from within your TicketSource account. To activate this feature:


  1. Go to Settings and Tickets
  2. Select the Tickets option
  3. Tick Enable ticket printing of in-house reservations and click Save Changes.


When processing an in-house booking, you can print the ticket for a reservation on the final page of the booking process. To print any previously processed reservations, you can do so by following steps:


  1. Go to Reports and select Reservations Report
  2. Filter the report by selecting the events and date range within the fields provided and click Produce Report
  3. On the right-hand side of the customer's booking, hover over the Actions button
  4. Select either the Print Thermal Tickets (if thermal printing has been configured) or the View E-ticket option
