Social Distancing Rules

Learn how to add the Social Distancing rule to your events with seating plans.


  1. Go to Events and Select Modify Event.
  2. Select the relevant event from the drop-down and click Modify.
  3. In the Ticket Allocation column under the name of the seating plan, hover and click the Pencil Icon.
  4. Tick the box Enable the social distancing rule on all bookings.
  5. Click save changes.
  6. This will apply to all dates and times in your event.


If you're creating a new event, you will be prompted to enable to social distancing rule when you add your Ticket Allocation.


By applying a social distancing policy to your seating plans, you can determine the number of seats to block on either side of each completed booking, in front of and behind the booking, and in radial (on the diagonal) seats.


The result creates a socially distanced bubble around each completed booking.
