1. Nothing happens when I click to print thermal tickets
If you are selecting to print thermal tickets and nothing is happening:
- Have you followed all the instructions for installing TicketSource PrintServer and configuring your TicketSource account? The TicketSource PrintServer manual can be found within 'Settings > Tickets > Thermal ticket settings'
- If you have followed these instructions and still cannot print, please contact our Technical Support Team.
- Have you installed TicketSource PrintServer on more than one P.C? Installing TicketSource PrintServer on more than one PC prevents the server and the printer from communicating clearly. You only need to set up TicketSource PrintServer on one PC, but this would still allow all users/PCs linked to your account to print regardless of the user.
2. I have a Thermal Printer and the alignment of my tickets changes with each print?
Please check you are using the correct template for your selected printer. Within your TicketSource Thermal Print Server software head to Printer Settings and Ticket Template to review.
Once you have selected the correct option click apply changes and then Print Test Ticket to check that it's able to print. If you are certain that you have the correct template selected on your TicketSource PrintServer account but you are still experiencing the alignment issues, then please contact our Technical Support team.
4. My Thermal Printer is only printing some of the tickets
If your thermal ticket printer is not printing all tickets:
Please ensure you have the latest version of TicketSource PrintServer installed.
To do this;
- Open up TicketSource PrintServer on your computer
- The current version will be shown in the title bar
- Go to "Update Checker" and select "Check for Updates". If you need to update PrintServer you will be prompted to do so
5. My Printer is not cutting after each Print Job (Citizen Printers)?
The cutting feature of the Citizen printer will be dependent on you having the ticket cutter installed in the printer. It is an add-on for the printer and is not installed with the printer as standard. If you do have the ticket cutter installed, you'll need to configure the ticket cutter in your Windows Printer Settings as per the printer setup instructions available here.
