To amend the on-sale date for an event that has already been created -

The public will not be able to book tickets until your chosen date/time via the website. However, you will be able to sell tickets via your dashboard (in-house) prior to this date if required.
4. How to Password Protect a Price Category
- Go to Events and select Modify Event.
- Select the event that you want to modify.
- In the Price Category column, select to modify an existing ticket price or click Add a New Price Category and fill in the required fields.
- Under Advanced Settings, tick Password protect internet sales for this price category.

- Then carefully select a password - this is the password that you will distribute to the selected customer.
- Click save changes.
5. How to hide the number of tickets available
TicketSource defaults to show your customers how many tickets remain for an event on your public-facing sales pages. For any events with more than 50 tickets remaining, the system will display this as "50+ tickets remaining" rather than showing the full ticket allocation. You can however turn this setting off so that the number of available tickets is not showing on public pages.
To turn off this setting within your account:
- Go to Settings and select Ticket Shop
- Under the Sales Options section, un-tick the box next to Show Number of Tickets Remaining.
- Click on Save Changes.
6. How to limit the number of tickets a customer can purchase
Event Level Limit
- Go to Events and Select Modify Event.
- Choose the relevant event.
- Under the Event column click the pencil icon.
- Expand the advanced setting section.
- Tick the Restrict the number of tickets per customer for the event option.
- Enter the relevant number in the box.
- Click save changes.
The restriction will apply to the tickets in the customers' basket, meaning that it limits the total across all price categories. For example, if there were two price categories with the limit set to 4, a customer wouldn't be able to select 4 from one price and 2 from another (unlike in the example for 1.).
This ticket restriction option will also detect if a customer has booked before by matching any previous details from completed bookings. A customer wouldn't be able to book tickets and then re-book more in a separate transaction later using the same details.
Price Category Limit
- Go to Events and select Modify Event.
- Select the relevant event.
- In the Price Category column, click the pencil icon under the relevant price category.
- Under Advanced settings change the options for the maximum and minimum selection.
- Click save changes.
For example, if the minimum was set to 2 and the maximum set to 5, customers would have the option to book between 2 to 5 tickets for that price category.
7. How to Limit the Availability of a Price Category
To amend a price category on an existing event -
- Go to Events and Select Modify Event to navigate to the event designer.
- Under the existing price category, click the pencil icon.
- Under Advanced Settings, tick Set price category total ticket availability to and enter the number of tickets available for that price.
- Click save changes.
8. Adjust Ticket Sales Period
If your public-facing sales pages are showing a greyed-out ticket icon saying Contact Venue your tickets have gone off sale.
To modify your off-sale date
- Go to Events and select Modify Event.
- Select your event from the drop-down list.
- In the Dates column click the pencil Icon.
- You can adjust your off-sale Date and Time next to Stop Ticket Sales.
- Click Save Changes.
Ticket sales may have also been manually deactivated.
