Ticket Types, Concessions & Accessibility

Event organisers on TicketSource set up and manage their own ticket pricing, descriptions and policies. Because of this, the types of tickets available can vary from event to event.

When booking, we recommend reviewing all ticket options carefully to see what is available for that specific event.

Accessibility & Companion Tickets

TicketSource encourages event organisers to make booking accessible ticket options as simple as possible. Most venues offer accessible seating, but availability and ticket types will vary depending on the venue and the nature of the event.

Policies around companion or carer tickets are set by the event organiser. Where offered, these may be free or discounted, and may require proof of eligibility such as an access card or participation in a recognised scheme.

Concession Tickets

Concession tickets are discounted tickets offered to make events more accessible. These may be available for groups such as: Students, Seniors, Children, Individuals with disabilities.

If you purchase a concession ticket, you may be asked to provide proof of eligibility on entry. This could include a student ID, proof of age, or a disability card.

Babes in arms policies

For events that allow children to attend, organisers may offer a “babes in arms” policy. This usually allows a baby to attend without a separate ticket, provided they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap during the event.
